Our story
Built beside the practice that needed it.
Not a generic tool dressed up for wills and trusts. Software shaped inside estate planning work.
01
How it started
Toni Sandin of Sandin Law, a boutique estate planning firm in Fargo, ND, and Joe Sandin of Onsharp are husband and wife. They brought their firms together so Estate Link could be designed beside a real practice, then engineered as a product of Onsharp.
02
The problem we lived
Like many boutique firms, Sandin Law was stitching tools together: a case system here, task software there, a CRM for leads. Client intake was hard on families and expensive for staff when the same facts had to be entered again. Nothing felt purpose-built for the estate planning journey.
03
What we set out to build
A central practice hub: inquiries, intake, family relationships, matters, time, trust, and a branded client experience. Keep specialized tools where they belong, including WealthCounsel for drafting and QuickBooks for accounting. Make the rest coherent.
Grounded in practice
Shaped inside an estate planning practice, not a boardroom.
Attorneys and staff at a boutique Fargo firm who live the work every day helped design the workflows. A software team built beside them. That is why Estate Link fits the way estate practices actually run, whether you are down the street or across the country.
Who shaped it
Practice judgment. Desk-level reality. Software craft.
