Product
Who is Estate Link built for?
Estate planning law firms that want one system for the client journey: inquiries and consults, intake, a branded portal, matters, billing, trust accounting, and optional SMS and payments.
What is included?
Inquiry forms, configurable client intake with firm-side progress visibility, a white-label client portal, contacts with fiduciary roles and an interactive family tree, matters, tasks and templates, time tracking, invoicing, trust accounting, Microsoft 365 email, Dropbox, and QuickBooks Online. Optional SMS and Estate Link Payments. Free migration help, including spreadsheet or CSV import support. A firm administrator can export a ZIP of CSV records anytime.
Do you have a client portal?
Yes. Your firm gets a branded portal on your own subdomain: logo, theme colors, and welcome message. Clients complete intake there, and can view and pay invoices when Estate Link Payments is enabled.
Which integrations do you support?
Microsoft 365 for sending email, Dropbox for matter files, and QuickBooks Online so your books stay in sync with Estate Link billing. Estate Link Payments is a built-in payments feature (optional add-on).
Does Estate Link replace my drafting software?
No. Estate Link is practice management: inquiries, intake, matters, time, billing, and trust. Wills and trusts are still drafted in the tools you already use, such as WealthCounsel. Matter files can live in Dropbox when connected.
Can you help us migrate from our current software?
Yes. Migration support is free. We help you import contacts, matters, and related practice data, including spreadsheet or CSV imports when that is the cleanest path. Firms coming from Practice Panther have a dedicated Switch from Practice Panther page on this site. On a demo we review where your data lives today and map how it moves into Estate Link.
How does trust accounting work?
Trust balances can be viewed by matter or contact, with ledgers, as-of dates, and CSV export. You can take retainers, apply funds to invoices, and transfer between accounts. Bank accounts support trust, operating, and IOLTA-style typing so staff can reconcile against the bank.
Pricing
How much does Estate Link cost?
$69/user/month when billed annually, or $79/user/month when billed monthly. Optional SMS starts at $49/month per firm. Estate Link Payments charges a 0.5% platform fee with no monthly fee (card and ACH processing fees apply separately).
Are there different plan tiers?
No. One core plan for every firm. Feature access is not split into Starter, Professional, or Enterprise tiers. SMS and Estate Link Payments are optional add-ons.
Security
How is firm data separated?
Estate Link is multi-tenant with tenant isolation and role-based access. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
Can we back up or export our data?
Yes. A firm administrator can create a data export anytime from Settings. You get a ZIP of CSV files (contacts, matters, time, invoices, payments, and related records) that you can open in Excel. Your firm owns its practice data. You do not have to wait until you cancel, and you do not need to ask support to get a copy.
Support
